FlowLIFT Has Yoga with Weights For Beginners
XpressLITE and LiteLIFT
If you’re new to FlowLIFT, we recommend you start with our XpressLITE and LiteLIFT classes. XpressLITE is 25 minutes and LiteLIFT is the full 45 minutes. They are both great, it just depends on how much time you have to devote to your workout each day.
XpressLITE and LiteLIFT classes utilize the same style of movements as the regular FlowLIFT class, however they are simpler with less reps. In the regular FlowLIFT class you flow through 10 or 15 reps of each move. In the LITE classes, you do 8-10 of each move.
The key to mastering FlowLIFT is to move as slow as you need to when you first start out. Even if the instructor is moving fast in the video, you can still go at a pace that works for your body. One of our most important FlowLIFT mottos is “it’s better to move slow and strong than fast and sloppy.” You may do half the reps that the instructor does, but you’re still building a whole new kind of strength that will have you feeling stronger than ever.
XpressLITE and LiteLIFT also use lighter ankle weights. For the LITE classes we recommend our 1.5 lb. ankle weights. You can even skip the ankle weights altogether when you first start out. That way you can get used to this new style of moving before you strap on extra weight.
The LITE classes are not easy. You’re still going to be feel very challenged and perhaps even frustrated at times. Just keep flowing through the class and don’t get discouraged. When the LITE classes become easy for you or you feel like you’re ready for more of a challenge, it’s time for FlowLIFT and XpressLIFT.
FlowLIFT and XpressLIFT Online Yoga with Weights Classes
FlowLIFT is our signature class and is where it all began! 45 minutes of non-stop, kick ass movement that will rock your world. If you don’t have a full 45 minutes to workout, the XpressLIFT is our 25 minute version of the class. It still packs quite a punch and will have you sweating all over and feeling like Wonder Woman.
We recommend our 2.5 lb ankle weights and 3 lb dumbbells for the best results. There are quite a few moves where the knees are down on the mat. Our FlowLIFT kneepad keeps the knees comfortable throughout the class. Get our FlowLIFT kit and you’ll be ready for everything we throw at you.
If you jump right into the LIFT classes and it’s a bit too much for you, try a few LITE classes to familiarize yourself more with how we move. Once you can flow easily through the LITE classes, it’s time to put in the work and go for it with our FlowLIFT and XpressLIFT.
Go as slow as you need to as you practice each move. Eventually you will be able to do all the reps. There is no shame in taking it slow at first or always. The quicker pace does bring the cardio element in, however you want to stay strong and steady rather than fast and sloppy. Let the class gradually become a cardio workout as you get stronger and stronger.
FlowLIFT is a Superior Yoga with Weights Class
We know other yoga with weights classes are easier to follow along with. The movements are simpler and you don’t struggle as much. Yet most yoga with weights classes lack all the advantages that FlowLIFT provides. Some of our moves will blow your mind and you’ll think to yourself “oh man, I can’t do that.” But guess what, you can!
Try three LITE or LIFT classes per week for two weeks. After six classes you will see and feel the results of your hard work. You’ll never go back to the hum drum yoga with weights classes that are out there. Improve the body/mind connection, burn fat from the midsection, build muscle all over and drastically increase your coordination and joint range of motion.
