We want you let you in on the secret. It’s time to workout smarter, so let’s upgrade your yoga sculpt workout routine! The days of going to the gym and bouncing around from machine to machine for isolated movements are over. You’re ready for functional fitness with multi-planar moves that reshape your entire body. Want that long, lean dancer, runner or swimmer body? Strong legs, well-defined core, plump booty, and Madonna arms. FlowLIFT turns you into a lean machine with strength training, cardio, and flexibility all rolled into every 45-min workout.

Compound Yoga Sculpt Workout Movements
Working the body multi-laterally with moves that are constantly changing gets you faster results. Doing the same movements again and again in the same order causes you to plateau and prevents the body from really changing. Combining the agility of yoga with the strength of weight training you have the perfect recipe for improving your fitness level.

Light Weights and High Reps
For a lean body you need a yoga sculpt workout that utilizes light weight bearing movements with high repetitions. The FlowLIFT classes do just that. You’ll be wearing between 1.5 and 2.5 lb. ankle weights and using between 2 and 4 lbs. dumbbells. Every move is done between ten to fifteen reps to burn out the muscles without over-taxing them. Burn fat and lean out, especially if you can pick up the pace and increase the cardio element of the class.
-
Focus or Spazz Out
You just can’t zone out in this class. It’s physically impossible. Your mind has to focus on executing the movements, otherwise you’ll get lost and spazz out. This isn’t one of those workouts where you turn on the tv and move mindlessly through some boring thirty minutes of cardio. FlowLIFT asks you to be there fully, giving it your all so your mind gets a workout too. Who doesn’t need a sharp mind, especially as we begin to age?

Turn Up the Heat
Doing this class in a little heat makes you sweat more, lubes up the joints, and preps the body for the more complex moves. We’ve found that the perfect temperature is between 80 and 83 degrees. Not too hot, but just right. Try it and let us know what you think!
-
Bump Up the Volume
A 2010 study led by sport psychologist C.I. Karageorghis states that music can improve athletic performance in two ways: it can either delay fatigue or increase work capacity. According to this study, the effects of music lead to “higher-than-expected levels of endurance, power, productivity, or strength.” You heard the man, turn up the volume! Get into it. Once you figure out how to do the move try to find the rhythm and match your movements to the beat. Let the music fuel you to keep going and finish strong.
-
Strength In Numbers
Doing a workout with a buddy creates a sense of accountability and makes you work harder. That’s the power of the strength in numbers. Call up your bestie or grab your kids and hubby for a quick 25-minute XpressLIFT class. Anyone can do something for 25 minutes, right? Try it!

Keep Burning Fat, Even After Every Yoga Sculpt Workout
We’ve found that when we’re consistent with doing FlowLIFT three times a week our metabolism functions more efficiently and we keep burning fat long after the workout. We know this true because we’re ravenous, end up eating more than normal, but somehow we lean out. So, if you can get at least three FlowLIFT classes a wee, you can still enjoy some of your favorite treats. It’s a win-win.
