The Glow Bowl from The Juiciest Fruit

Coree from The Juiciest Fruit is joining us for another FlowLIFT and yoga challenge. She’ll be whipping up three new recipes to keep you clean and lean over the next six weeks of non-stop yoga and LIFT. One of our favorite things about Coree is that she gets us eating simple foods that we many not usually throw into the grocery cart. So expand your food horizons and try the GLOW BOWL. It’s a great lunch or dinner. Light but super flavorful and leaves you feeling satiated but not stuffed.
Think about your effort going towards a Macro type meal: carbs, protein, fat.
This bowl hits all of the marks with flavor galore and balance.
Ingredients for The Glow Bowl
-Rice (quinoa, lentils)
-Swiss Chard (spinach, kale, micro greens)
-Shiitake Mushrooms (crimini, lions mane)
-Kimchi (anything fermented)
-Persian Cucumber
-Carrot
-Radish
-Eggs
-Furikake, Sesame & Hemp seeds
-Rice Vinegar, Sesame oil, Ghee, Garlic
-finishing Salt (Maldon), cracked Pepper
Directions
Place cut cucumbers into a bowl with a splash of sesame oil and rice vinegar, let sit for as long as a day ahead.
Cook rice. Add a little ghee, hemp seeds and Furikake after, stir to combine
Steam broccoli until almost cooked for that yummy al dente vibe
Sauté mushrooms with ghee and once mostly browned, add cut chard and cover to steam
Fry egg with ghee, S&P
Fill your Glow Bowl, enjoy the beauty that you are about to nourish your body with!
