You have many choices when it comes to choosing a workout, whether it’s in person or online. How do you choose what the right workout for yourself? When it comes to yoga and fitness, we have a checklist of requirements that we need to see fast results and to keep us interested for a consistent amount of time. Yoga body sculpt classes are not all created equal. Follow the list below to see if the workouts you’ve been doing pass the FlowLIFT test.
The Perfect Workout Checklist
- Are you motivated to work harder than you’ve ever tried before?
- Are you engaged? Does the class keep your attention the whole time?
- Is it time efficient?
- Does your brain get a workout?
- Are you getting cardio, agility, flexibility, and strength training?
- Is it fun?
- Does it give you fast results?
- Does if have good music?
Everything All Rolled Up Into One
In the past we had to do several types of classes to get everything we needed covered. We did yoga to stay flexible and calm. We hired a personal trainer to help us get ripped arms and a nice round booty. We did pilates to create long, learn muscle, and we went to another gym for cardio on the treadmill/bike. We also went to yoga body sculpt classes at other studios and we noticed they used a lot of equipment and heavier weights. We spent a lot of time “setting up” the moves and we got bulky muscles from the heavy weights.
Don’t Give Up…Keep Going
FlowLIFT is a tough class that might frustrate you in the beginning because you “aren’t coordinated” enough. Some of the sequences might make your brain short circuit a little bit. You have to pay attention and give your self time to figure out how to do the moves. It’s ok to go slower and do less reps. Whether you’re doing the class in person or online, you’ll be motivated like never before by the energy of the room, the music, and the other students. FlowLIFT is addictive in the best way possible. It’s all those things listed above and yet so much more.
But Does it Keep Your Attention?
A yoga body sculpt workout needs to have many components to keep you coming back for more and FlowLIFT really has it all. The class sequences change every single week and the moves are always different. There is no way to plateau in FlowLIFT classes. You can start with no weights and slowly work your way up to 1.5 or 2.5 ankle weights with 3lb hand weights. If you’re consistent with three times a week you will get leaner, stronger, and more flexible. Your mind will get a workout too and the challenge is what gives you that desire to keep coming back again and again.
